George Withers’ Aunt Georgina dies, leaving her considerable estate to charity, much to the displeasure of her family. The only exceptions are a few mementoes, which are to be sold at auction. She also leaves her favourite nephew George a letter, telling him that a fortune is hidden inside a dining room chair going to auction. However, George, outbidding himself, finds he doesn’t have the money to pay for the chairs, and they are sold off separately. Can he win back his money and before time runs out?
