American, Soviet and Chinese secret services show a great deal of interest in a young woman who has been found in Paris, suffering from amnesia and who is presumed to be Erica Olsen, the mistress of a Chinese scientist. The American secret agent passes himself off as Erica's husband and finds out that the woman is in possession of a priceless pearl, which he decides to try to steal. As her memory returns gradually, the young woman confesses that she is in fact Erica's sister. The scheme has enabled the real Erica to reach Hong Kong with the black pearl. This results in a frantic pursuit of the pearl, in which secret agents all try to get to Hong Kong first. But in the scramble the black pearl eventually falls into the sea...
